The Fishing

Brigadoon's rare tract of land was one of very few that did not sell to the National Forest Service when the Chattahoochee National Forest was created, and remains in private hands. Rarer still is the extreme privacy of the river. Since the property includes both sides of the river and is designated non-navigable, there is no public access allowed. Fishing fee. 500.00 per head per day
Brigadoon has over a mile of private riverfront, with 1.5 miles of abutting fishable public water to the north. The trophy sections are divided into 12 exclusive beats. Seven springs and creeks feed the Brigadoon section of the river, and there are breathtaking views in every direction. It is especially beautiful in the Spring months of April, May, and June when the 300-year-old mountain laurels, azaleas, and rhododendron are in bloom. Equally lovely is the stunning Fall color with the leaf change in the months of September, October, and November. We can accommodate up to 8 guests with separate bedrooms. The chef is available on request.
