Okay. I'm going to try something new. Post the newsletter to the FB page rather than send the e mailing list - which I am sure to screw up. Then buy an ad and hope for the best. Please share to aid me in this spread the word effort. Thanks guys. See you soon. Bekah
Brigadoon Newsletter Spring 2017
"Barely Winter" appears to have passed. I heard it went below freezing for a day or two.... It may have been a warmish winter but it was a wet one! We have had plenty of rain and the water is higher that ever so it should be fantastic Spring fishing. Not surprisingly, given the temperature, we had quite a few hardy anglers fish over the winter. To a man they caught a LOT of fish. And big ones. Please visit our Website. Brigadoonlodge.com. to see photos of our Winter guests with their big fat fish. ( Everyone puts on a pound or two over the holidays.... )
Returning guests will notice that I have removed the ground floor of the main lodge. I LOVE it! It's so open and airy. Just beautiful. But that particular renovation effort costs us two bedrooms, a bath and a kitchen like thing, so now the main lodge only has four bedrooms and one of those is a loft which shares a bath and one is still referred to as "the dungeon". Book the old lodge at your own risk. I was just sick of cleaning it and it was rarely booked. Little Oban (sleeps 2-4) and Cragganmore (sleeps 8) remain unchanged. Remember, you have to be fishing a two day minimum to stay at the Lodge. We are not a B and B.
Rates Fishing fees remain unchanged since inception. i.e. 25 + years. Fishing 300.00 per head per day / (250.00 winter rate) Lodging 200.00 per head per night /(150.00 winter rate) Guides 150-175.00 and guests pay the guides directly. (you have to negotiate with these guys yourselves.) ***Winter rates remain in effect thru the end of the March and I will extend this rate to any who CONFIRM their reservation by March 31st. Need credit card info + billing zip to confirm. Now there's a bargain!
Please e mail me with your date preferences as Spring 2017 is booking faster than any Spring in recent memory. The "contact us" button on the website will accomplish this. Rebekah@brigadoonlodge.com. (706)754-1558 hard line at lodge or (706)499-1199 cell. It's best to e mail....
